Gift Ideas #3

This gift idea is for the photographer!

The first idea is from lensbracelet.com. These bracelets are super cool, and won't break the bank! Plus, it's something you could layer, so you could get your photographer friend a few of these and still be able to afford lunch!

This second idea comes from NeedfulObject's store on Etsy. This is also an inexpensive gift for your photographer friend, and if you have a few photographer friends, they're having a buy 3 get one free sale.

The last photographer loving jewelry idea is from ThePendantGarden store on Etsy. They have a number of lenses to choose from, some are vintage, brass, etc.

Gift Ideas #2

Today's gift idea is for anyone who likes to sketch, draw, doodle, invent, etc. The top half of each page is blank, the bottom half has a graph. These are fantastic, high quality sketch books, and somehow they're selling them at $8 right now. BUY THEM UP! I bought one a few years back for double the cost, and some of the proceeds went to Sandy victims. They're a great company and I like to support them.

Gift Ideas #1

It's that time of year again... Where I help you come up with gift ideas for the architect, photographer, cat lover, or designer in your life!

For the first entry of this series, I'm heading to the books!
The book I recommend is Abandoned America: The Age of Consequences   by Matthew Christopher. I had the pleasure of taking one of Matthew's workshops this summer. (At some point I will get around to posting photos from that...) He is a very down to earth photographer, and his photos are amazing.
The book is on preorder from Amazon right now, and ships December 7th, but it's also almost $13 off the normal asking price, so order now!
For the person in your life who has a mild to severe obsession with abandoned buildings, this is the book for them. They don't necessarily have to be an architect or photographer! I know plenty of people who are fascinated with abandoned buildings, so I know I'm not alone in this obsession!

To check out some of his photographs, or to see what kind of workshops he offers, go to his website here: http://www.abandonedamerica.us/

Edit: I don't know what is up with the text color on this post.. and Blogger won't let me fix it. Sorry for the headache!

Menu Design

I recently finished a menu design for Sabrosa Taqueria in Doylestown, PA. They officially open tomorrow, November 7th at 5pm.

(The menu folds down the center of the logo. FYI.)

Take one look at their tasty menu and try to not camp out waiting for them to open... By the way, the Roasted Veggie Taco in a Pint is AMAZING. Seriously.
