It's been a while...

...since I've posted some Nasa photos.

Remember it was super popular to create images made up by hundreds of tiny images? Then some people got lazy and just overlayed the image on to hundreds of tiny images... anyway, check out this (real) one made by PHD astronomy student Alex Parker. It's Starry Night (one of my favorite paintings on earth) made up of hundreds of photos from the Hubble telescope.

Curiosity

Well you had to figure I'd post something about the newest Mars photos! Maybe I should change this blog to be about Architecture, Design, Photography ... and Space.

Okay. Just kidding. I'm glad you all put up with my random space photography posts.

Here's the first 360 degree panorama from Curiosity.

Venus

As you know, Venus passed in front of the sun the other day. Nasa has posted this amazing 3 minute video for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Home Sick...and Nasa!

Home sick today. Boo. Worst part is, I'm leaving for Toronto tomorrow! I've gotten more sleep in the past few days then I normally get in a week, so hopefully I'll be as good as new tomorrow morning, and posting lots of photos from Toronto. Or at least when I get back.... but because I'm home sick and stuck on the couch, I found some cool things to post about!

Discovery News posted this awesome photo from Expedition 31 Flight Engineer Don Pettit.

Nasa photos. Again.

I know I post several times a month regarding photos from NASA, but really, who wouldn't want to see a 8000x8000 photo of earth?

Earth

If you haven't seen this yet, you need to check this out. It's a time lapse view of Earth from the International Space Station.
